Structural Transformations

CrystalMaker-3 provides more power tools for
measuring and manipulating crystallographic data

• More flexible Set Range command. No longer restricted to duplicating integral unit cells, and therefore makes better use of the finite atoms array limit.
• Improved the Plot Range dialog, with up/down arrows, to permit easy selection of plot ranges.
• New Calculate Angle menu command and dialog. Calculates the angles between two lattice planes and/or vectors (crystals only).
• Much faster bond search. New List Bonds dialog permits choice of atoms to search. Up to 3000 bonds may be listed. Option of new, concise, search output.
• New Generate Bonds command. Searches for atoms that lie within 15% of the sum of their radii, and generates bonds accordingly.
• New Diffraction Pattern menu command allows you to launch CrystalDiffract from within CrystalMaker, and to plot a diffraction pattern for the currently-displayed crystal.
